Graduated with masters in industrial design in 1999 from scuola politecnica di design in Milan, after graduation Rona worked for several years in different design practices, designing award winning products for Italian companies such as Leucos, Aldabra, Bisazza and Luceplan. Later on Rona moved to London and specialised in designing and project managing bespoke made products for projects such as Nobu, Morimoto and Yauatcha Restaurants, Hotel Puerta Amercia, The Ritz, Walker Art Museum, private residential projects including luxury yachts and many more to mention. Rona's experience inspired her to establish her own practice in East London in 2007 and launched the first range of products during Salone del Mobile in Spazio Romeo Gigli.
Her work is exhibited worldwide in design events such as Salone del Mobile, designjunction during London Design Festival and Maison et Objet, and is extensively published. Rona is also a visiting lecturer in Plymouth University and HIT institute and a freelance journalist and runs her own design practice Kukka Studio specializing in custom made products for special projects and commissions. Her clients include Caesarstone™, The Conran, Paul Smith, La Rinascente and Aviv Group.
In 2010, Kukka™ was established.
